I don’t know about you, but before my weekend starts I feel like it has already ended. I can get wrapped up in a task in the morning and before I know it, its almost dinner time. Also, your not the only one that can get sucked into the black hole of social media. One thing just leads to another and I went from wanting to change my whole wardrobe to an article about why I need chickens in my backyard!

I’ve found that writing things down is the best strategy for me. Oh how I love lists, and the feeling I get when I can physically cross them out when completed. I’ll post it right on the fridge and it will keep me motivated through the weekend.

+.   Learn to meditate.    I have been dealing with anxiety for as long as I can remember. I want to incorporate self meditation into my schedule to help relax me through my racing thoughts and also have that peace of me time.

+.   Finish Blanket.    I recently taught myself to crochet and I have been working on a blanket for my mother-in-law for Christmas. My goal was to finish it up in September and now its October. it needs to be done this weekend!

+.   Attend a workout class.      I am a member at a gym and I need to start taking full advantage of what it has to offer. Yoga anyone?

+.   Take Winston on a walk.      I have a large backyard, living on 1/2 an acre full fenced in and it’s easy for me to just open the backdoor when Winston (my Great Dane) has to go potty. Because of this, he has NO IDEA how to walk on a leash. We need to practice this.

+.    Kitchen Cabinets.      I have no excuse to not get this done. end of story. I feel like I have been working on painting these for over a year now.

+.    Watercolor painting.    Another self taught project I am working on. I recently bought some ‘how to draw’ books for my kids, so they work on there drawing some nights. I wanted to join them and decided to start learning to paint.

+.    Attempt a new recipe. Weekends are the easiest for me to do this.

+.    Take a bubble bath.     Hello, who doesn’t need this everyone once in a while?!

+.    Visit The Book Mine.    This is a place that I have been dying to go to. I am a HUGE book worm and cannot wait to see this place. Apparently, it’s a 55,000 sq ft building filled with new and used books. It is packed from floor to ceiling. I have prepared myself with another list of books I have been wanting to read so I don’t get overwhelmed when I get there. (any other recommendations on books is always welcomed!)

+.     Start on a new book.   This one should be easy once I visit the book mine!

+.     Go to the movies.         Okay, I am a sucker for scary movies. My husband hates them so I rarely get to see any when they come out. But, the movie “it” came out and I want, no need, to go see it. I am that type of person where I can go to the movies or restaurant alone, and sometimes I prefer it.

+.     Start my tidy journey.   I have learning the magic art of tidying up. Can we say life changer! I am in no way a hoarder or messy person, but I do have a hard time throwing things away. I also spend most of my precious time cleaning, and I want to free up this time. I am not finished with the book yet, but I will say it is a must read! You can find the book here.
